Sweet & Smokey Whole30 Bbq Sauce

Ingredients:

1 cup of 100% natural apple juice*

9 pitted medjool dated

3 oz of tomato paste

1/4 cup of white vinegar

1 Tbs of Frank's Original Hot Sauce (buy here)

1 1/2 tsp of black pepper

1 tsp sea salt

1 tsp cyan pepper (more if you want it really spicy)

1 1/2 tsp smoked paprika 

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

Directions:

In a high powered blender (I use a ninja - find here) add pitted dates and apple juice and purée. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Place in a jar with a sealable lid. Store in the refrigerator four up to 2 weeks.

Macros:

Notes:

*make sure there are no added sugars. Ingredients should just say "apple"
